Tax Records Updated

Taxes are now current for all municipalities and can be searched by going to the "Tax Records" Tab, and selecting "Tax Records Search" from the drop down list.

MLS Area Field is Going Away

MLS Area is one of the fields that will be deleted in upcoming changes to the MLS database. There is no date available yet as to when these changes will occur.
In preparation for this change, MLS recommends that members use other geographic search fields such as County, Municipality, Municipal Sub-Area, School District, Zip Code and/or a Map-Based Search for all saved searches including Prospects.

MLS RETS Server Being Upgraded

The RETS server that processes RANW MLS data feeds to member companies is being upgraded to be in compliance with RESO standards to ensure that MLS data is compliant. This upgrade will take place over the next couple of months.
Vendors on record for our member companies using Firm Specific Data Feeds received notice of the coming changes in early February. If there are questions, please contact MLS.

MLS Training Class for Super CMA Discontinued

Due to a lack of enrollment over the past two years, the training class for InnoVia's Super CMA program has been discontinued. The tool itself will remain available, and members can continue to call MLS when questions arise.  Training documentation for the Super CMA is available in InnoVia's Help Topics.

MLS Stats

Don't forget - "MLS Stats" is available to MLS members - it allows members to quickly and easily pull statistical reports from the MLS data. Under the Misc menu, or by using the MLS Stats button on the right side of the My InnoVia screen, members will log in to the stats program with their InnoVia login and password, and then choose from a variety of reporting options.

WCIE - Loads of Updates

Catylist.com Replaces Commercial IQ, New Catylist Logo
We launched Commercial IQ several years ago to serve as a national search engine to attract eyeballs to your members' listings. Next week, we'll be merging Commercial IQ into a newly redesigned Catylist.com. Going forward, we'll have a single national site -- we think it will simplify things a lot, and ultimately bring more leads to your members.
Also, after 14 years, we've updated our logo! We hope you like it. Let us know if you need a version of the logo for use on any materials, etc.
You can kick the tires here: http://staging.www.catylist.com/
Mobile CIE
In the past, when someone visited your CIE/CMLS on a phone, we'd redirect them to the Catylist Mobile CIE. This site was designed to work well on phones, but it lacks many of the features of the full CIE/CMLS. We've been hard at work for the past months on making things more mobile-friendly. Next week, we'll remove that redirect -- members visiting your site will remain on your site. Using Responsive Web Design (RWD), your site will now adjust itself to fit on whatever device is being used (phone, tablet, desktop, etc.). We haven't yet applied this to ALL pages of the CIE/CMLS, but we hope to finish the effort in the next couple months.
Mobile-Friendly Email
We also worked to make the emails sent by your CIE/CMLS display better when read on a phone. This will also be an ongoing process, but things should look a lot better.
Radius Searching
When your members are doing a map search, they'll now see a new "Search Within Radius" button at the top-left.
Visual Indicator of Viewed Properties
Another oft-requested feature. When members are searching for listings and viewing results, we now make it easier to tell which they've looked at. After a listing has been seen, the title will display in gray, and the map icon will be faded.
Support for Zoning Codes
We now have support for custom zoning codes. If you can provide us with a list of possible codes (usually per county), we can integrate them in a way that allows your members to select the relevant code from a menu (rather than forcing them to type it in). This should lead to more consistent and accurate assignment, which in turn should make searching listings by zoning code a lot more useful. KCREA will be the first group taking advantage of this.
