Larger Photo View in InnoVia

A new photo viewer has been released in InnoVia that shows listing photos in a larger screen size. This photo viewer works best when photos uploaded into InnoVia are a minimum of 1024x768 pixels. Smaller photos currently in the system are not stretched to fit; they simply do not fill the entire screen area.
In order for this photo viewer to work correctly, InnoVia’s photo upload tool has been changed to require all photos be a minimum of 1024x768 (an increase from the previous minimum recommendation of 580x436). If members try to upload a photo that is smaller than 1024x768, they now see an error message informing them that their photo is not large enough to be uploaded.
Photos still need to be in JPG format, and under 8Mb in file size. If you are taking pictures with your phone, be sure that photos are taken at 2 megapixels or more. (This setting will give you a resolution of 1600x1200.) If you use a professional photographer, please pass on this new size information.
To see the new photo gallery – click on the main property photo from a Confidential Full or Customer display, or on one of the gallery photos on a Customer with Gallery display.  This new larger view is now available in Prospect Carts as well.

MLS Areas Are Going Away - How to Search Without Them

The MLS Area field will disappear from the MLS early in 2016. This field will no longer appear on data sheets or listing maintenance, and will no longer be searchable. In preparation for this change, MLS recommends that members begin using other geographic search fields such as County, Municipality, Municipal Sub-Area, School District, Zip Code and/or a Map-Based Search for all saved searches including Prospects and Hotsheets.
Members can also set up saved searches with common parameters, such as selected municipalities or mapped areas. Having this information saved in the system will make it very easy to retrieve and build on, rather than having to enter the geographic area from scratch every time.
For general Search Criteria help, including how to use pick lists (County, Municipality, School District, Municipal Sub-Area),
see our How To Search document.
For additional information on the Drill Down tools used for County, Municipality and School District, see our document here.
For details on the Municipal Sub-Areas, which were designed to mimic some of the MLS Area Numbers, review the information here.
Click here for instructions on how to Save and Retrieve Search Criteria.
The best way to pinpoint locations for your client's searches is to use a Map-Based Search. Using the Polygon, Circle, and Rectangle drawing tools allow you to specify an exact area (or multiple areas on the same map) where properties will be located in your search results. Map-Based Searches can be used for any property type search, for Hotsheets, AND for Prospect Manager! Find step-by-step instructions here.
Make sure YOUR listings are found when other members use Map-Based Searches! Check and manually save your listing's location via the Listing Inventory report

MLS Stats

Don't forget - "MLS Stats" are available to MLS members - it allows members to quickly and easily pull statistical reports from the MLS data. Under the Misc menu, or by using the MLS Stats button on the right side of the My InnoVia screen, members will log in to the stats program with their InnoVia login and password, and then choose from a variety of reporting options.
