At Home With Diversity Certification Webcast Offered at RANW~ Tuesday, October 3rd WRA will be offering a webcast of the At Home With Diversity Certification (AHWD) Course on Tuesday, October 3rd at RANW. The course will be instructed by Eric Kodner, AHWD, and will run from 8:30 am to 5 p.m.
The At Home With Diversity (AHWD) educational experience is designed to present a picture of the changing face of the industry. REALTORS® who adapt to increasing cultural diversity and wisely plan to meet the needs of diverse clients gain a competitive edge and expand opportunities.

Wisconsin's Direct Giver ProgramWe are in the final stretch of RANW's Direct Giver Fundraising period, and we have only reached 50% of our goal. Soon we will be sending out the Association dues bills and then Direct Giver contributions "fall off the radar". Given the enormous issues the real estate industry is facing, we need your support now more than ever, so please send in your Direct Giver checks today. The WRA Direct Giver Program provides an alternative to an RPAC contribution for members who:
- wish to retain full control and direction over who will receive their political contributions.
- wish to give personal contributions to candidates for local and state elections and at the same time benefit the REALTORS® Association.
Direct Giver Process
1. Solicitations: The minimum contribution is $100.00.
2. Checks: Checks can be used and must be made to the WRA Direct Giver Program (not RPAC). Checks can be sent to RANW, W6124 Aerotech Dr., Appleton, WI 54914.
3. Credit Cards: You may also pay on-line via credit card. Click here and login to the WRA site. Or you can call Jennifer at 920.739.9108 with your credit card information and she will take care of it.
4. Control: Contributions to the Direct Giver Program are deposited in a separate bank account from RPAC contributions. Structurally, the WRA then acts like a bank, with disbursements permitted only with the explicit authorization of the contributor. That is, you retain full control on how your direct giver money is spent.
5. Directing Contributions: Contributors may at any time direct their contributions, in whole or in part, to any candidate for local, state or federal office. When disbursing funds, contributors can email or call RANW or WRA to indicate how they wish their money to be distributed.

This is great opportunity for RANW members to volunteer to help homeowners in your community by raking lawns and other fall lawn maintenance tasks for elderly and disabled residents in your market area. Paragon Updates ~ July 27th1. No Showing on Listing=Reminder MLS Rule Section 4.3 B. Availability of Listed Property
Listing brokers shall not misrepresent the availability of access to show or inspect listed property.
If your listing is submitted to MLS, and you have included in the Public Remarks that there are "No Showings" - until a specific date - you are subject to the following per the MLS Rules (Section 4.3B):
~ Requires a written request from Seller (in listing contract or amendment)
~ The showing/access restriction applies to the Listing Company as well.
2. New yes/no field added for help with processing your listings
New yes/no field added for help with processing your listings timely Paragon has added a new field labeled "Listing Contract included" Yes/No. At the time you are entering your new listing, you will answer either Yes or No. It is very Important: only enter Yes if you will be attaching the listing contract right then, when you are saving this new listing to active, unconfirmed in Paragon.
Example: If you enter your new listing this evening into Paragon without a listing contract you will enter "No". Then when you or your office adds the listing contract the next morning after their review, at that time you or your office may check "Yes".
This new field, if used by members correctly will help MLS staff and the iCheck system better process new listings ~ thank you.
3. Listing Visibility - Is my listing Confirmed Yet?
You do not need to call MLS to see if your listing is confirmed and showing in MLS. Please use the Paragon search Listing Visibility Type for your listings= Unconfirmed and Confirmed. If it shows:
~ Confirmed (and active) it will be viewable for all members in MLS.
~ Unconfirmed (and active) it will not be viewable by other members in MLS.
(It is not a status -- both the Unconfirmed and Confirmed will have an Active status).
Reminder: a listing will not be able to be processed to a "Confirmed Listing Visibility" until the listing contract is attached to the listing in Paragon.
4. Assume Identity open for Brokers and OA's
The new Paragon tool for Assume Identity will be turned on for the Company Broker and OAs on August 1st. An email went out to all Company Brokers and OAs with information on how this will work.
Reminder if you-your Company Broker and OA do not wish to have this function turned on, please advise RANW MLS.
Assume Identity Tool
Brokers, Managers or OA's may click the Assume Identity tab and it will open to allow you to select-highlight one of your agent's names within your company. The Assume Identity tool will allow you to assist your agents if they are having issues within Paragon and to prepare and print off reports with their information displaying on reports showing their photo and contact info.
At the top of your Paragon home page on the tool bar you will see the icon "Assume Identity". Click on this and it will take you to the agent name you want to assume identity for and click "Assume". The screen will change and you will then be in the MLS System as that agent.
IMPORTANT: To resume being logged in as yourself, "Click Here" on the top line of the Assume box and it will take you back to being in Paragon as "You". Listing Maintenance/Broker Load Class Offered Aug 23rd and Sept 26thRANW MLS is pleased to offer MLS companies the option to participate in Listing Maintenance (LIM) or 'Broker Load'. Training is required if a company wants to participate. Participation in Listing Maintenance is at the discretion of the participating company broker. The next classes will be at the RANW Office ~ please email MLSTraining@ranw.org if you would like to register:

To participate in LIM, after you have attended training, reviewed all the materials, and put in place your company policy and procedures, please send the signed LIM Office Participation Form to cdreger@ranw.org. Upon receipt of the completed LIM form your company access will be granted within two (2) business days.
Data Services Available to MLS Member Agents/SalespersonsEffective June 1st, RANW MLS began offering additional services for Agents/Salespersons (with company authorization). Agents/Salespersons have the option of IDX, Voice/Text/Mobile Application, and VOW data feeds.

Agent/Salesperson Signature Page and Data Request Form for data feed or IDX requests. Search Tips for "Total" FieldsBathrooms: When searching for 1 ½ Bathrooms or more, use the Total Baths search field (not Full Baths or Half Baths), and put 1.1 in the Low field. There is no need to use the High field. Searching the Total Baths field for 1.1 in the Low will give you results that have at least 1 ½ baths.
Garage Size: When searching Total Number of Cars, please note that the search functions are on whole cars, not half. This is necessary to avoid ½ cars being totaled together, making a 1.5 plus 2.5 add up to 4 full cars. The only way to search specifically for additional garage space would be to use the individual garage size fields: Garage 1 # Cars and/or Garage 2 # Cars. ~ Seller's Property Improvements Schedule a Showing While Using Paragon MobileMLS is pleased to report that Paragon has added “Schedule a Showing” to Paragon Mobile. RANW MLS Stats Reports Are Back!The RANW Stats reports can be found under the Resources button in Paragon. These familiar and customized statistical reports that we had on InnoVia (through the icon on the right-hand side of the InnoVia home page) have been added to Paragon. REMINDER that it is very important that closings are reported correctly and timely (within 3 business days per MLS rules) so that your statistical reports can reflect correct information. Maps and Geo-CodingGoogle Maps is Coming to Paragon!
Paragon is working on switching the mapping and geo-coding from Bing to Google. This welcome update is expected to be complete by the end of the first quarter, 2018.
Bing Maps Updated - Some Issues:
The Bing Map service used in the Paragon MLS system was updated to Version 8. This change was mandatory as previous versions of Bing Map are no longer supported by Microsoft. There are some current issues that Bing Map is working through.
~ Bird's Eye Views are not displaying in certain locations, due to removal of outdated imagery in Bing by Microsoft.
~ Automatic View has been removed by Microsoft. As a result, Paragon has matched the Automatic View to the Road View as the conversion to Google Maps has begun.
~ Navigation Controls which allowed the end user to pan in any direction was removed with the Version 8 release. Work is underway to recreate the Bing Pan control previously used. Printing Issues with Internet Explorer 11IE 11 users attempting to print in Paragon are sometimes receiving an error. This has been acknowledged by Microsoft as a known issue with the June 2017 security update for Windows. Microsoft is researching this problem, and will report more information when available.
