Paragon Tax Database updates and the "T" on your listings
Paragon has been working on updating of the Paragon tax databases - once these updates are completed, the auto-population for listings will be allowed, please stay tuned.

Does your listing have a "T" displayed with the other icons on it?
~ Important to make sure you have the correct tax parcel ID number indicated on your listing and also that you have updated your tax year and amounts - if you do, the "T" will display with the other icons on your listing and allow you to click and go directly to the tax record
~ IF no "T" is appearing most likely you need to update your tax number - you can do this by going into the Paragon taxes and searching for your property listing, remember less is best when searching.
~ OR there may no "T" due to there is not Paragon Tax data for that county. If this is the case, then the 'T' will not display with the other icons on the listing. This means that you will not be able to auto-populate any data for that listing-when this function is turned on.
~ For any counties that you are not part of the Paragon taxes as of now, you can still locate the tax data by going to the icon on Paragon of "Resources"-My Links. Click on the My Links it will open to the list of all of the public county tax website links.
Reminders:
~ The Tax ID # is required and the net tax amount in MLS.
~ Normally a vacant lot has a tax id number which tracks with the land, and is updated as improvements are made.
~ If you were splitting off a portion of a larger parcel and started building prior to having a survey for the new parcel, then you may use the whole parcel ID # and clarify in MLS Remarks indicating it is a portion of the land identified by the tax id #. If you would split the parcel during the time the listing in MLS, please update your listing.
~ If you have a new construction listing, as your property progresses, MLS records should also be updated. If you were splitting off a portion of a larger parcel and started building prior to having a survey for the new parcel made of record, then you may use the whole parcel ID # and clarify that it is a portion of the land identified by the tax id #, if split during time of listing in MLS, it should be updated.

Extending Expired Listing
Please be aware that if you are extending an expired listing, you need to first bring back the status to Active, and then update your new expiration dates. If you aren't doing this, your listing could be showing as Expired. MLS has requested a work order to Paragon to allow for the status to change automatically when a new expiration date is entered.

YEAR BUILT - Reminder on Searches
The new field of Year Built is a required field. Because existing listings have not all been updated yet, it is important to remind you if age of the property is key to your Buyers, then you need to search first by previous (Pre 2017) age range, then also search by year built. In the coming months after all the agents have updated listings, searching for both will not be necessary - Now this also includes for setting up your prospects. 

The New "None" Tax Municipal Sub-Area
Members using a mix of municipalities - some with sub-areas and some without - in their searches have been frustrated in getting correct results. Only those listings in the sub-areas would appear, and no listings from municipalities without sub-areas were in the results. A workaround was found, selecting sub-areas "not equal to" the ones you wanted, but now there is another way.
A new tax municipal sub-area called "None" has been added to all municipalities other than the Cities of Appleton, De Pere, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, and Oshkosh.  Now if you are selecting sub-areas, you can choose the areas of those five cities (as needed) along with "None" to coverall of the other municipalities that do not have specific sub-areas. No longer do you need to select sub-areas "not equal to" the ones you want.
This change also means every listing in every municipality will have to have a sub-area selected - for all municipalities other than the Cities of Appleton, De Pere, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, and Oshkosh, that sub-area will be "None.
