Acreage and Lot Square Footage

If you are adding Acreage info in the new Paragon fields and need a refresher in calculations, here's a handy reference.
Even though you may have lot dimensions or lot square footage on existing listings, please update your listing to include the Acreage field. Paragon will be auto-calculating and populating the field of lot square footage from Acreage. See the helpful Acreage Calculations-Handy Reference.
1. One Acre equals 43,560 square feet.
2. If you have a lot size multiply width by depth to determine square footage. Divide square footage by 43,560 to determine acreage. EXAMPLE 60x120 = 7,200 square feet Dividing 7,200 square feet by 43,560 = .165 acre.
3. If you have square footage of site, divide by 43,560 to determine acreage. EXAMPLE 13,200 square feet. Dividing 13,200 square feet by 43,560 = .30 acre.
4. If you have acreage, multiply by 43,560 to determine square footage. EXAMPLE 1.45 acres x 43560 = 63,162 square feet

"It's Backwards Now": Searching Sub-Areas in Paragon

(Appleton, De Pere, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, and Oshkosh)
There is a CHANGE in how members use the Tax Municipality Sub-Area search options for the Cities of Appleton, De Pere, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, and Oshkosh). Paragon will be working on a better search for subareas in the near future. Instead of searching FOR the sub-areas desired, members should EXCLUDE the sub-areas they do not need.
Using Green Bay as an example: If I want to search the NorthWest and SouthWest sub-areas of Green Bay (as specified in the MLS options), I need to set the Tax Municipality Sub-Area search as NOT EQUAL TO the sub-areas of NorthEast and SouthEast. See image illustrate:
This is especially important when using more than one Municipality in criteria selections. If members are only searching in Green Bay, then selecting vs excluding probably won't matter. If there are multiple municipalities selected, and members are selecting sub-areas vs excluding sub-areas, searches will return zero results.

No More DisplayKEY Option for NEW Keyholders

As of April 1st, 2017, the DisplayKEY & Cradle option is available for NEW agents. The only key option available for NEW Keyholders will be the eKEY app & fob. This should be viewed as is a positive change because it will ensure that Supra reports will be more accurate due to the eKEY app automatically updating and submitting info to Supra. Lockbox activity reports will be more accurate, as well as showing notifications. It is also a good change for Brokers since the fob is purchased property, not leased. This means no additional equipment to collect, or be liable for, if an agent goes inactive.
And remember, the fob is a universal Bluetooth device, so it can be used by anyone with the eKEY app. If an agent turns in a fob they are no longer going to be using, the company can keep it as a spare.
Please make sure to update office files with the most recent version of the
Agent Key Agreement, March 2017. Outdated key agreements can no longer be accepted. RANW MLS appreciates your cooperation with this change.
