Notice of Annual Meeting and Election of Directors ~ Tuesday, October 24th

Elections:  Tuesday, October 24, 2017
Location:  Holiday Inn, Appleton
Annual Meeting:  11:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.

The election of Directors for the 2018-2020 Board of Directors shall take place on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at the Holiday Inn, Appleton, WI, during the Business Meeting beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Elections shall be by RANW REALTOR® Members by voice or hand vote, or by ballot if there is more than one nomination per Director position to be filled; and all votes shall be cast in person. Any ballot shall contain the names of all candidates and the position for which they are nominated. Nominating Committee Slate will be announced no later than three weeks preceding the Election. Additional candidates for the offices to be filled may be placed in nomination by a petition signed by at least 10% of the RANW REALTOR® members. The petition shall be filed with the Secretary at least two weeks before the election at which time REALTOR® members will be notified of such additional nominations.  No write-in nominations or nominations from the floor shall be accepted (ref: RANW Bylaws Article XI).

RANW Professional Standards Training ~ Thursday, October 5th

Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 5th, for RANW Professional Standards Committee LIVE Training.  Tracy Rucka from WRA will be the instructor. Please contact Casey Radtke at cradtke@ranw.org for additional details or to register. The training will be 10-12 and 1-4, with lunch in between. 
Bi-annual training is required to serve on RANW local Professional Standards Committee and for Directors on the Board. Directors are required to attend in the first year of their 3-year term. Data Services Available to MLS Member Agents/Salespersons/Teams

Effective June 1, 2017, RANW MLS will begin offering additional services for Agents/Salespersons/Teams (with company authorization). Agents/Salespersons/Teams have the option of IDX, Voice/Text/Mobile Application, and VOW data feeds. Forms are available below:

How to find Agent Sales Production

Member agents can go to Resources > Statistical Reporting, and then use the “MLS Statistics” report.  Choose the desired Date Range, and select any other criteria needed before building the report. 
This report gives the numbers, but does not identify listings by MLS number; if that level of detail is needed, then a broker/manager with their higher security level must run the “Sales Detail” report for the agent (also available under Resources > Statistical Reporting).

How to Run a Reverse Prospecting Report for your Listing

Reverse Prospecting reports give detailed information for an individual listing, letting a listing agent know how that listing is doing as far as matching saved searches or contact records, how many times the listing has been emailed from Paragon, and various hit count statistics.
To run a Reverse Prospecting report, select Listings > Maintain Listings, find the individual listing in the results, then choose Select an Action and then Activity Report.

Did Your Contact Accidentally "Opt Out" of Receiving Emails?

Here's how to help them opt back in ~ click here.
Enter the Contact's email address in the box provided, and then click the "Next" button in the lower right corner of the screen.
Make sure the radio button "Any agent using this software" is selected, and then click the "Next" button in the lower right corner of the screen.
This will generate an email to your Contact. The Contact must open the email and click on the confirmation link within 72 hours to opt back in to receiving email from the Paragon system.  If your contact does not click to confirm within that timeframe, you will need to repeat these steps.

How to Generate Status Sheets in Paragon

For those members who do not use LIM, listing changes – including reporting listings as sold – are submitted on a Status Change Form.  To generate a Status Change Form for your listing, follow these easy steps:
1. Start at your Paragon Home Page
2. Look for “Power Search” across the top of the Paragon screen – type in the MLS number, or the listing address, or other information to retrieve your listing.
3. Select the listing to be changed from the results shown by clicking on the MLS number.
4. When the listing detail appears, select Reports (right side of screen), and then Details.
5. Here you will find the change forms: Change-Remrks Direct (for editing the Remarks or Directions fields), Change-Status $ Offr (changing status, offer, pending, withdrawn, back on market, expiration date, price, and tax information), and Change-Status Sold (for reporting that a  listing has closed).
Remember, status changes are to be reported to MLS within 3 business days of the change per MLS Rules. This includes Offer Status changes, and reporting listings as Pending (when all contingencies have been met, and the listing is waiting to close).

Lockbox Program

New BLUETOOTH Lockbox System Coming in Oct/Nov

RANW MLS is pleased to announce that the new Supra Lockbox System has been approved and new BLUETOOTH® lockboxes will be arriving hopefully by the end of October or beginning of November!  Supra is working with MLS to get the new lockboxes delivered so agents can swap their old lockboxes on properties this fall before the weather changes and batteries no longer work.  The new Supra lockboxes are very similar, still blue and a bit larger with a better handle and cove for fitting on doors, and are BLUETOOTH®. The push up key container activates the battery and allows for smooth opening of the lockbox and less drain on the battery!
Watch for special email notices of the new system rollout of key and lockbox changes this October and November, along with special training offerings!

How to Find Your eKEY Serial Number

If you need to call Supra's call center for assistance with your Supra key, you will be asked to provide your eKEY serial number.
To locate your eKEY serial number, open the eKEY app on your smartphone or tablet. At the top of the screen you will see either eKEY Basic or eKEY Professional followed by your key serial number.
Important! Record your eKEY serial # somewhere in a safe place so if you get a new smartphone or need to re-install the eKEY app, you'll be able to locate your eKEY serial number.

No Lockbox Audit This Year!

In lieu of an annual audit we are encouraging every office to do an internal audit of lockboxes and return any extra as soon as possible. The easiest way for an office to track lockboxes is to set up a SupraWEB account. Via SupraWEB an office can track inventory, edit lockbox hours of operation, and keep track of who is accessing lockboxes assigned to your office. Brokers, please visit Supraekey.com to set up your SupraWEB account today!
RANW is happy to run a lockbox inventory report for your office at any time. Please contact Angela or Kristen to set up a time to come in and drop off your excess boxes. We also have a courier service with drop sites in Green Bay, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, Waupaca, and Shawano for easy lockbox return.
