The discounted dues deadline is Thursday, November 15th again this year. Please pay the original amount on the renewal invoice you received by Nov. 15th to take advantage of the $50 savings. After November 15th, dues increase by $50.
Easy Ways to Pay
REALTOR® Designation Awareness Month is recognized annually in the month of November. The National Association of REALTORS® encourages members to increase their professionalism, marketability, proficiency, and income through pursuance of an officially endorsed NAR designation or certification.
The Wisconsin REALTORS® Foundation (WRF) is launching its first REALTOR® volunteer week. REALTORS® Team Up Against Hunger will be November 26-30, 2018. The objective is to have REALTORS® Team Up and volunteer at their local food bank and/or pantry.
You can find local food pantries by zipcode at https://feedingamericawi.org/. Members can coordinate either through WRA or directly with your local pantry, but you need to make arrangements ASAP. One more note: If you participate, include #teamrealtor and #realtorsfeedWI in your social media posts. The Foundation's social media is @realtorsfeedwi. And keep RANW posted too.

Thank you to everyone who made it to our 2018 Annual Meeting and 100 Year Celebration on October 23rd. This sold-out lunch featured Keynote Speaker, WRA President and CEO, Mike Theo. Jill Dickson and Judd Stevenson were voted into the 2019-2021 RANW Board of Directors. RANW MLS Directors, newly appointed to the reorganized 2019 Board, were introduced. MLS has received numerous requests from members that mass-email such as announcements of new listings, open houses, etc. should not be sent to other members or companies without prior consent.
Per RANW MLS Rules, Section 5.7, these may be submitted to MLS for comp purposes: If offices have Office Exclusives or One-Party Listings, or FSBOs sold under Buyer Agency Agreements that do not sell through MLS, they can with Seller and or Buyer authorization as appropriate, report these sales through MLS as a Comp Only. This builds a more complete and useful database of comp information to benefit all members.Previously MLS required members to only submit their Sold-Comp Only listings to MLS for entry by Data Entry. RANW was able to have Paragon allow for use of LIM to enter listings, and go through same required process of having the listing go into unconfirmed visibility to allow for review of all pertinent required data. This will also make sure that a comp-only listing does not get added to the Searches, Prospects and statistics and into the Collab System to a buyer when it should not.
~ Listing-Selling Company may enter these type of listings on line in Paragon under LIM, as Sold-Comp Only status
~ or the MLS Data Entry staff will be happy to enter these listings into the MLS System for you. Please see link (http://www.ranw.org/mls/submitalisting.asp) for data forms and or a blank sold status form.
~ The listing must have all the required data fields and features filled in
~ There must beat least the one main exterior photo of the property
~ The proper Sold data for this property, including the correct "Type of Sale" info. Please click here to see this important information. Most often the sale is "Non-Arms Length", which means: a sale that did not hit the open market. An example would be for sale by owner, or an individual owner selling the property to a family member, or other individual when the property was not exposed to open market conditions.
~ The listing had a one party contact to list or sell this property (and was not entered into the MLS System as an active listing ~ and sold during either of these agreements).

Homebot is a new item available in Paragon that is an automated marketing and relationship management tool. This is optional in Paragon and has a fee associated with it.
Every MLS does things a little bit differently, so learn what RANW MLS needs you to know! The MLS Basics class will cover our rules and recommended listing procedures, offer a review of listing data and forms needed to complete your listings, cover some of the basics of using Paragon, and provide info on the Supra lockbox program.
Supra is now integrated with our online scheduling system to give you enhanced reporting capabilities! With this new integration, you'll be able to see when your Supra lockboxes were accessed for each of your listings on Showing Time's Listing Activity Report.
Are you working with a fellow REALTOR® in WIREX and want to give them temporary access to a lockbox on your Company listing in the RANW MLS?
As an incentive to make the new Lockbox system easier for Members, all keyholders were given the eKEY Pro version of the app for the transition period and all of 2018.
At the beginning of next year (January 2019), the trial period for eKEY Professional (eKEY Pro) will be ending. All keyholders will automatically convert back to eKEY Basic. Each keyholder will have the option to keep eKEY Professional (eKEY Pro) at an additional monthly cost, paid to Supra, available as a keyholder lease.
Keyholders who keep eKEY Basic will have the added value of new highlights added to the eKEY Basic program in Fall of 2018.
New Highlights for Supra eKEY Basic:
-Quickly and easily send an alert e-mail or text at the tap of a button to 3 people by pressing and holding the Alert button on the app for 3 seconds. Then a pre-defined e-mail or text is sent to up to 3 people identified by agent along with a link to a map of the location of the eKEY
-Authorization code improvements (Shorter authorization codes, easy to enter. Click on link in mobile device to auto populate.)
-Create real-time listing notes in SupraWEB
-Data at the door displayed when keybox is opened (Get MLS listing data plus a property photo when keybox is opened)
-Listing agents can provide last-minute instructions to showing agents without visiting the property
-Apple Watch compatibility
-Respond to the end of showing prompt
-Faster obtain key/shackle release
A notice with the highlights of both eKEYs and the fee to switch to eKEY Pro will be sent to all members in November.

The Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services (DSPS) license renewal deadline is fast approaching! You should have already received an email from the DSPS with license renewal information or you can click here for a link to the online renewal portal.
REALTOR® Emeritus is a NAR designation available to any current REALTOR® member in good standing who has been a REALTOR® consistently for at least 40 years in a local board and a member of NAR, who currently serves on a local, state or national association committee.
According to the DSPS website:
REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within two-year cycles.
The new .realestate domain, launched by NAR in partnership with Second Generation, Ltd., will be available for purchase through GoDaddy, NAR announced. GoDaddy, get.realtor, and more than 20 other registrars will offer the domain starting Nov. 26, when it will be made available to the general public.
Soon RANW will no longer be offering hard copy forms for purchase. The WRA had discontinued hard copy forms as of October 1, 2018. We are no longer able to place order through the WRA. We are selling our remaining forms until we run out. The time to order is now! Please place your orders as soon as possible.
