REALTORS® come to Washington, D.C. for special issues forums, committee meetings, legislative activities, and the industry trade show. This year’s Legislative Meetings take place May 6-11, 2023, and the REALTORS® Trade Expo takes place May 8-9, 2023. The event is held annually in Washington, D.C. each May.

 Billing invoices have been online since October 2022, and email notices sent regarding the change over from mailed statements to online system.
***After May 2023, only emails will be sent, notifying you billing is available on your member portal. Please make sure you have checked your online access this month and let us know if you have any issues before the statement mailings end.

- Immediate access to your invoices once they are posted; no more waiting for statements to arrive.
- Added option to pay by credit card online (Visa or MasterCard), while still having the current options below:
1. Set up auto-pay with RANW through ACH if you have ongoing monthly billing such as MLS or WCIE.
- If you have ACH currently setup, do not make a duplicate payment online. Contact us if you are not sure of your current setup.
2. Print invoice and send payment by mail with a check.
3. You can make an advance payment on the account by sending a check with extra funds.
Firm Billing History and Manager Reports online - reprint and view as needed.Winnebago Floodplain Information AssistanceWinnebago County participates in the Community Rating System sponsored by the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) wherein individuals with property located in a floodplain, and who are required to hold flood insurance, may receive a reduction in flood insurance premiums if the participating community undertakes certain activities. One of the activities required is making map determinations, and publicizing the information to lenders, insurance agents and REALTORS®. REALTOR & Government Day - Don't Forget to Register!
April 26, 2023| Monona Terrace and Convention  It's time to lobby! The WRA's annual lobbying event, REALTOR® & Government Day, is your chance to shape the laws that affect you and your real estate business in Wisconsin.
The event kicks off with an issue briefing where you'll learn about pending laws and how they impact real estate. Next, you'll move to the Capitol for lawmaker visits. You'll have the unique opportunity to meet in person with your state lawmakers to lobby for or against these laws.
This is your chance to advocate for issues that impact the real estate industry, homeownership and property rights in Wisconsin. Your voice will be heard, and a better Wisconsin real estate market will follow.
There is also a new incentive! For the first time ever, your attendance is eligible for CE credit. If you complete and pass a brief exam, you'll earn 1 CE credit for the 2023-24 WI biennium.

ACT NOW AND SAVE! Avoid a Set-Up Fee by Transitioning to API Now! If you subscribe to a RETS data feed via RANW MLS- you are at risk of losing your MLS data feed.
RETS access for RANW MLS data feeds will only be available until May 31, 2023 with the exception of WIREX feeds. If you have not transitioned to API by May 31, 2023 you will lose your MLS data feed!
If there is a reason you cannot be transitioned to API by that date, please contact us immediately.
In order to regain your data feed after the cutoff date, you will have to apply for an API data feed and will be charged a set-up fee. RANW MLS is not charging MLS Participants a set-up fee for existing RETS feeds that transition to API with the same information (vendor, URL, feed type, data use). So, transition now and save money!
Contact your Vendor NOW to ensure you are transitioned to API in a timely fashion to avoid a set-up fee or disruption of your data feed.
RANW MLS has aligned with a company called MLS GRID for Data Feed Management. MLS GRID is currently being used by many of the Vendors that our members are using today. Vendors may already be familiar with them and this new process. If your Vendor is not already part of the GRID, they can visit mlsgrid.com/resources for How-To information.
Members should transfer their IDX and VOW data feeds to MLS Grid, and don't forget about your other feeds! Back-office Replication and Firm-Specific feeds also need to be transitioned from RETS to API.
Members must begin the transition process for Firm Specific feeds. To do this, offices need to set up an account on MLS Grid and invite your vendor to use your company listings. Here is a how-to based on MLS Grid's instructions. MLS Grid for Firm Specific Feeds
REMINDER: When you have transitioned to API, you will want to cancel your RETS feed so you are no longer charged for it. When you and your vendor have successfully switched your website or software to the API feed from MLS Grid, don't forget to cancel your RETS feed! To avoid any interruption in data service, no data feed will be cancelled without written notice from our member. The easiest way to cancel a data feed is to send an email to support@ranw.org with the details.
Data Agreements - New RANW MLS Data Agreements for Data Feeds via RETS have been updated to comply with the new NAR MLS Policies and Rules. The new Data Agreements for API will also comply with the newest NAR MLS policies and can be found on mlsgrid.com.
Data Feed Fee Schedule - A restructured fee schedule has begun for all MLS Data Services. The fee schedule for RETS and API are the same. New fees are in effect as of February 1, 2023.

NAR Mandated Broker Attribution for IDX and VOW FeedsRANW MLS added new fields to Paragon for the MLS Company Participant to select for company listings when displaying MLS listings on public websites via IDX/VOW, due to a mandate from NAR referred to as "Broker Attribution". Along with the current requirement to display the listing firm name in a prominent location on each listing, NAR has mandated that as of September 1, 2022, Participants' IDX displays also must identify an email or phone number, provided by listing Company Participant, to be displayed with the listing firm name. Please see memo to RANW MLS Participants, sent August 15, 2022 for more information and directions on how to identify contact information on IDX and VOW feeds. In three years RANW has successfully processed more than 7,600 electronic earnest money payments with TrustFunds and has fastest transaction time for 54 seconds!

Partnership for Success Program - Promoting Diversity within the REALTOR® Membership The WRA Partnership for Success Program is designed to promote diversity within the REALTOR® membership based on race, color and national origin, in a manner designed to enhance the probability of long-term success in the real estate profession. The program forges a partnership between the applicant, sponsoring broker, local or regional association, and the WRA.
The successful Partnership for Success award recipient receives one year of REALTOR® dues. This REALTOR® dues benefit applies to the current calendar year and is only applied if the applicant has not yet paid REALTOR® dues, including new member and initiation fees, or to the following calendar year if REALTOR® dues have already been paid or if the recipient chooses the following calendar year. The WRA also pays six months of MLS fees.

WCIE Offers New EnhancementsMoody's Analytics/Catylist has added two recent enhancements:
Broadcast Email/Shared Listing Enhancement
Moving forward when a member sends (or receives) a broadcast email or a shared list; the listing information will now be accessible by members and non-members, whether the listing is public or not. This change will alleviate these listings not being accessible by non members.
Status Filter Enhancement
This enhancement will make it more clear which status filters are engaged from the "My Listings" page. Below is an example of the old screen and what the new one now looks like. This should make it easier to find closed listings to bring back to market, remove closed when wanting to just see actives, etc.
Before, the status filters were located under the "Type" menu on this page. A lot of users were having trouble finding those, and this led to quite a bit of confusion. The new design brings these status filters out of the menu and displays them across the top of the interface similar to how things worked on the legacy platform.
