RPAC Office Participation Awards - 2016

In an effort to increase the percentage of members who contribute to either RPAC or Direct Giver, the Association is asking brokers to help highlight advocacy and other legislative activity; educating agents about RPAC and why it is so important to their business; setting an example of giving.  These efforts by brokers play a critical role in the overall success of the Association as a whole.
Therefore, RANW and the Government Affairs Committee have established a new recognition program for offices that meet the following participation levels in their individual offices:

Extra Large Office
Large Office
Medium Office
Small Office

Agents
51+
26 - 50
11 - 25

RANW's membership is made up of many, many smaller offices with 1, 2, 3, and 4 REALTORS® who regularly contribute to RPAC and Direct Giver. We sincerely thank you for your support. We couldn't do what we do without you!

If you would like more information on how you can help to increase the participation level in your office, please contact Jennifer Sunstrom at
jsunstrom@ranw.org or call 920.739.9108.

Thank You to all 2016 Direct Giver and RPAC Contributors!

Not only were we able to exceed our fundraising goal for 2016, but we had one of the highest participation rates in the state at 48%!!! Slowly, but surely we are moving closer to having each member financially support the association's advocacy efforts and help elect and reelect candidates who support the real estate industry and private property rights.
The RANW Government Affairs Committee and the RANW Board of Directors, sincerely thank every single person who gave what they could either to RPAC or to the DirectGiver Program. Although we are not able to list all members who so generously support the RPAC program, every single dollar counts!
A special thank you is also extended to the 2016 Government Affairs Committee Chair: Greg Dallaire and the entire Government Affairs Committee, as well as so many brokers who have helped highlight the importance of RPAC to their agents. If you have any questions regarding RPAC or Direct Giver, or if you would like to become involved in the Association, please contact Jennifer Sunstrom, RANW Government Affairs Director at
jsunstrom@ranw.org or (920)739-9108."

Special Paragon FAQ - Updates as of Feb 3rd

Be prepared for the cutover from InnoVia to Paragon on March 6th. This special Paragon FAQ document will outline what you need to do to prepare for checking your listings, completing your Prospect/Contact search information, and updating your own preferences as soon as February 8th (for those members who have completed the online Paragon Academy). Parallel beings February 8th ~ take this time for your sneak peek! Click here to access the FAQ.

Paragon Transition Guide with Helpful Action Items

Please read the Paragon Transition Guide to help navigate through the upcoming changes.

Confirm your Email Address in Paragon ASAP

As soon as you have access to Paragon in parallel mode, be sure to "verify" your email address so you'll be able to send email from the Paragon system to your customers and contacts. Verifying your email address can be done as part of setting up your Preferences, or will be done as part of the process of sending your first email from Paragon.
Once an agent's email address is verified (as required by Federal CAN-SPAM legislation), Paragon will remember the setting; only if the member email address changes will an agent have to verify their address again. If your email has not been verified, your ability to email out of Paragon will be put on hold after 30 days!

Listing Photos -Keep Them LARGE!

Listing photos in the Paragon can be submitted as JPG, Gif, or PNG images, but will need to be even larger (in pixel measurement/resolution) than they were in InnoVia. The new minimum image size for Paragon will be 1280x960 (1280 pixels wide by 960 pixels tall).
Members will need to review their resolution settings on their cameras or phones, as well as notify any photographers they work with, to ensure the images they upload will conform to the Paragon image setting and that the file name does not include any special characters.
For the best image quality, do not downsize images or take them with an automated “good for web display” type of setting. Upload the largest possible image and allow the Paragon system to downsize it as necessary for the best display in the MLS system.

Offer Status becomes a Required Field

Programming is in process to require that all Active listings have the Offer Status "Without Bump" included before they will be allowed to change to a Pending listing.
Offer Statuses of With Bump or Without Bump indicate that there is an Accepted Offer (with or without a bump clause). This accepted offer still has Contingencies that must be met before it can be placed into the Pending status. Listings with accepted offers - with or without a bump clause - are still considered Active listings and will continue to have showings scheduled and offers entertained (subject to the bump clause when applicable).
Pending listings are those that have met all of the Contingencies to the Accepted Offer, and are no longer being shown or accepting alternative offers. Pending listings are waiting for the closing to be completed.
Remember - per MLS Rules, all status changes must be reported to MLS within 3 business days.
