The optional use date will be August 1, 2020 and mandatory use September 1, 2020. https://dsps.wi.gov/Pages/BoardsCouncils/RealEstate/ContractualForms/Forms.aspx In WRA publications and education materials we are calling the WB-11 the "Take 2" given it is the second WB 11 released in 2020. The WRA legal team has taped legal talks to address the changes in each of the forms. Zipform will be updated as well. RANW Annual Meeting and Elections to go Virtual in October / EPA Awards PostponedThe RANW Annual Meeting, previously scheduled for October 27th at Bridgewood in Neenah, is being transitioned to a virtual format. Election of Directors will be also be held electronically. The "Jim Smith Excellence in Professionalism Awards" will be postponed until 2021 when we can celebrate the excellence of our members together. Stay tuned for details about the virtual meeting! NAR REALTORS® Conference & Expo Will Go VirtualThe 2020 REALTORS® Conference & Expo, originally scheduled for Nov. 13-16 in New Orleans, will transition to a fully virtual format. NAR will announce details, including registration information, in the coming weeks. The virtual format will include the association's governance meetings, as well as a full roster of educational speakers, energizing live-streamed content, networking opportunities, and an industry expo. Assuming a short numeric string is looking for an address, Power Search will return exact matches first, before returning 'starts with' matches. For example, "123" will return listings with street number 123 before listings with street number 1234 or 1235. New MLS Date Field for Delayed ShowingsTo use only for listings that have a Delay in Showings: A new Required date field is being added to Paragon for listings with Delayed Showings yet this month. Import your Google Contacts into ParagonWith Paragon's 5.78 release, you now have a new import option for your Contacts, allowing you to browse and multi-select Google contacts to import into Paragon! Go to Contacts > View/Maintain Contacts. Click on the Import button at the top of the screen and select Google. The fields that are imported are First and Last Name, the email address and the phone number.Paragon ConnectWith the 5.78 release there are even more reasons to start using Paragon Connect as your mobile and tablet search and collaboration tool. In the video that outlines the new enhancements to Paragon Connect, it will also give you a sneak peek at what is coming later in the 5.79 release. To Use Paragon Text Feature: Add Your Phone NumberIn order to use Paragon's Share via Text feature, you must first enter your phone number into your Paragon User Preferences. This phone number is completely separate from the numbers stored in RANW's Membership system, and is only used for utilizing the Share via Text option under the Share button on listings. 1 Go to Preferenes > User and select Mobile Account Settings2 Enter a mobile number to authorize text messages from your Paragon System Administrator and Contacts. Note: Standard message and data rates may apply. 3 Save your changes Update on Listing Activity Tracking DataA message from Paragon/Black Knight: COVID-19 Reminder Practice Real Estate SafelyAccording to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), individuals should continue to practice social distancing to reduce risk to yourself and others from exposure to or contraction of the coronavirus, and to prevent further spread in our communities. MLS Clear Cooperation Policy - Effective July 1st Fines Begin for Reported ViolationsReminder of the updated RANW MLS Rules to comply with the National Association of REALTORS®' Board of Directors approved MLS Policy 8.0, also known as the Clear Cooperation Policy. The policy requires listing brokers who are participants in an MLS to submit their listing within one business day of marketing the property to the public. Per Wis. Stat.§ 452.136, in all advertising (including social media) a licensee shall disclose the firm's name in a clear and conspicuous manner. Additionally, a licensee may not advertise a property in any way prior to the effective date of the term of the listing, regardless of when the listing was signed. With these new RANW MLS submission rules also what went into effect is a new form to be signed bythe Seller for any Delay Showings or Exclusion from MLS, and submitted to MLS along with listing agreement.
