Update Your Preferred Mailing AddressThe annual membership renewal dues will be generated in late September and mailed out to each member's preferred mailing address around the first of October. If you would like to update your preferred mailing address from office to home or vice versa, please login to your member portal with your member id or NRDS id and update the Preferred Mail section. A Message from the PresidentIt’s with a heavy, yet happy, heart that I announce that Margery Chapman, our esteemed leader at RANW since its inception, is retiring near the end of this year. My heart is heavy because she has so competently and adroitly led us through extremely challenging and ever-changing times in the real estate world, including the mergers that created RANW, so losing her leadership makes me sad. But, having served on the Board of Directors since the mid-90’s and having had the opportunity to work closely with Margery over those many years, and seeing her always putting the association and REALTORS® first, it makes me happy to know that she will be able to relax and take some time for herself during her retirement. Oneida St in Appleton. Stewart Title will be presenting the Beverly Carter Foundation story and information and we will have a personal safety coach available to do a short presentation and give tips on personal safety during our business day. Government AffairsState of the County - Brown County Economic Development Forum Wednesday, October 5thSave the date, Wednesday October 5th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., for the State of Brown County Economic Development Update. Once again Brown County is hosting an economic development forum for commercial developers, real estate professionals, builders, financiers, and other stakeholders. This event will be held at the Resch Expo, 2nd Floor Conference Rooms, 840 Armed Forces Drive, Green Bay, WI 54304. Come to hear about the state of Brown County from County Executive Troy Streckenbach, updates and development opportunities from Brown County municipalities, and a regional economic outlook. NAR Mandated Broker Attribution for IDX and VOW FeedsRANW MLS has recently added new fields to Paragon for the MLS Company Participant to select for company listings when displaying MLS listings on public websites via IDX/VOW, due to a mandate from NAR referred to as "Broker Attribution". Along with the current requirement to display the listing firm name in a prominent location on each listing, NAR has mandated that as of September 1, 2022, Participants' IDX displays also must identify an email or phone number, provided by listing Company Participant, to be displayed with the listing firm name. Please see memo to RANW MLS Participants, sent August 15, 2022 for more information and directions on how to identify contact information on IDX and VOW feeds. Important: Verify your Company Data feeds with RANW MLS by October 1, 2022RANW MLS is currently updating the MLS Data Access Agreements to comply with NARs mandates and rules changes along with restructuring fees for data feed services. Please note that among the changes there will be a monthly fee for Company IDX feeds. RANW MLS is also excited to offer our MLS Companies and their vendors the ability to upgrade their data feeds from RETS to API. Due to the NAR policy mandates, RANW MLS will be discontinuing RETS feeds by May 31, 2023. RPR is wrapping up final testing and are scheduled to update RPR Mobile on the morning of August 30th. The upgrade includes a host of refinements to the app, including a refreshed interface, search filters, buyer tour, and more-all top requests from members nationwide. Most importantly, 
RPR (Realtors Property Resource®) has made some really appealing changes to its Neighborhood pages. In this latest product release, they've added new charts and refreshed some existing ones. It's the same robust data you expect from RPR, but the presentation of it has been revamped and redesigned. It all adds up to a more eye-catching, interactive and responsive experience. On the NAR HUB last month, Francois (Frank) K. Gregoire, State-Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser, shared "Change is a constant in the real estate profession. Some of the most significant and difficult to understand changes relate to appraisals, and what the lender uses as an alternative to evaluate the collateral offered to securitize the mortgage loan. There is quite a range of products available, and the differences are not always explained to the buyer or borrower. A while back, the NAR Real Property Valuation Committee developed the attached handout explaining several different valuation products. Now seems like a good time to remind members of its availability."
