RANW is proud to have so many of our members noted in this issue. Just two of those include Michael Sewell, WRA 2022 Instructor of the Year, and Terry Hilgenberg, honored with the RPAC Extraordinary Service Award. We recognized these two outstanding leaders in October and are pleased to see them highlighted again in the WRA Issue. Don't miss the February Annual Recognition Issue.

Two New Campaigns Promote REALTOR Professionalism

WRA Implicit Bias Campaign -- This month WRA announced the launch of a new campaign and a new webpage designed to educate the REALTOR® community about "implicit bias". WRA Attorney Debbi Conrad's article in the February issue of WRA's magazine highlights the issue of implicit bias in real estate, and the educational resources now available on the new implicit bias website: Implicit Bias Resources - Wisconsin REALTORS® Association.

NAR That's Who We Are Ad Campaign - The National Association of Realtors® launched its fourth "That's Who We R" national advertising campaign, showing Realtors® in action and how they help consumers. The ads highlight the value Realtors® bring by showcasing members' dedication, expertise and professionalism. Members can leverage the new ad campaign in advertising and social media using official ad assets that promote the message and the official brand. Check out NAR's webpage for examples and guidelines. WRA's Line by Line Forms Videos FREE to REALTOR members

Previously a subscription-based service, WRA's board of directors voted to approve making the WRA's Line by Line (LBL) forms training video series available to all REALTOR® members free of charge. Effective March 1, 2022, REALTORS® may log in into the WRA website at www.wra.org/mycourses or follow the links from the WRA homepage to access their forms. All 19 videos will appear under "myCourses" automatically and are available for immediate use. Please note, LBL is an exclusive benefit for REALTOR® and Legal Section members only and does not extend to Affiliate section memberships. If member offices wish to gain full access to the LBL series for dually licensed nonmembers, the cost is $1,500 annually, plus tax.

Earn the C2EX Endorsement and You Could Win!

When you complete NAR's Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) Endorsement, you could win! Every two weeks, a winner will be drawn from the list of C2EX-Endorsed Wisconsin REALTORS® for a $100 WRA education gift certificate. When your Endorsement is complete through NAR, you'll be automatically entered into the WRA drawing. It's that simple: complete your endorsement, and you're in the drawing.

Why C2EX? Succeeding in real estate - especially in today's aggressive market - involves an elevated level of professionalism and commitment to excellence. And holding the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) designation from the National Association of REALTORS® can get you there.

C2EX is not a class. It's not a course. It's actually not even a designation. C2EX is an Endorsement that allows you to better cultivate community connections, boost business and position yourself as a powerhouse REALTOR® in your market. Think of C2EX as an elevated version of the REALTOR® title and brand: a C2EX-Endorsed REALTOR® is a REALTOR® who is practicing real estate at the highest professional standard in the industry. Read that again and get goosebumps.

Visit C2EX.realtor to start your excellence journey today. *Winners only eligible to win a single drawing. Promotion ends April 30, 2022.

As part of this day, RANW members met with legislators and their staff in the Assembly Parlor of the capitol to discuss four issues WRA is currently working on: Workforce Housing; Homeowners Associations; 40-Yr Expiration of Access Easements; and Foreclosure Equity Theft. You can view the complete talking points on these issues

WRA CALL TO ACTION - AB 607 Low-Interest or No-Interest Loans for the Rehabilitation of Residential

Wisconsin needs to invest in its older housing stock to build communities and create housing for Wisconsin's current and future workforce. The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA) and the REALTORS® Association of Northeast Wisconsin support AB 607, legislation authorizing the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) to make low-interest or no-interest loans for the rehabilitation of residential properties when certain circumstances apply. Reinvesting in older housing stock pays off in the long run.
