WRA's Line by Line Forms Videos FREE to REALTOR members

Previously a subscription-based service, WRA's board of directors voted to approve making the WRA's Line by Line (LBL) forms training video series available to all REALTOR® members free of charge. Effective March 1, 2022, REALTORS® may log in into the WRA website at www.wra.org/mycourses or follow the links from the WRA homepage to access their forms. All 19 videos will appear under "myCourses" automatically and are available for immediate use. Please note, LBL is an exclusive benefit for REALTOR® and Legal Section members only and does not extend to Affiliate section memberships. If member offices wish to gain full access to the LBL series for dually licensed nonmembers, the cost is $1,500 annually, plus tax.

2022 NAR REALTORS Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo ~ May 1-6

If you can't attend the Legislative Meetings in person, numerous sessions will be streamed at nar.realtor/stream. You'll just need to login to view as a member. If you haven't signed in to nar.realtor previously, suggest that you click Sign In in the upper right corner and register before the sessions start. Following is the schedule of streaming sessions. All will be streamed at nar.realtor/stream except for the Board of Directors which will be at nar.realtor/bod-stream. For more details on speakers and content, visit legislative.realtor.

Are You Wondering When You Should Send In Your 2022 Direct Giver Payment?

The answer is Now! We are officially in RANW's Direct Giver Fundraising period. We ask that all members who have been Direct Givers, or wish to become new Direct Givers please send in your contribution today so that we are able to help candidates who are raising funds and campaigning for the November election. Please don't wait...we need your help now.

The WRA Direct Giver Program provides an alternative to an RPAC contribution for members who:
- wish to retain full control and direction over who will receive their political contributions
- wish to give personal contributions to candidates for local and state elections and at the same time benefit the REALTORS® Association

Direct Giver Process
1. Solicitations: The minimum contribution is $100.00.
2. Checks: Checks can be used and must be made to the WRA Direct Giver Program (not RPAC). Checks can be sent to RANW, W6124 Aerotech Dr., Appleton, WI 54914.
3. Credit Cards: You may also pay on-line via credit card. Click here and login to the WRA site. Or you can call Jennifer at 920.739.9108 with your credit card information and she will take care of it.
4. Control: Contributions to the Direct Giver Program are deposited in a separate bank account from RPAC contributions. Structurally, the WRA then acts like a bank, with disbursements permitted only with the explicit authorization of the contributor. That is, you retain full control on how your direct giver money is spent.
5. Directing Contributions: Contributors may at any time direct their contributions, in whole or in part, to any candidate for local, state or federal office. When disbursing funds, contributors can email or call RANW or WRA to indicate how they wish their money to be distributed.

Standardized Property Measuring Guidelines - Changes Effective April 1, 2022

Important Changes ~ To the ANSI* Standardized Property Measuring Guidelines for Fannie Mae loans, effective April 1, 2022.

*American National Standards Institute Change includes a room with a sloping ceiling, at least 50% of the finished square footage of the room must have a ceiling height of at least 7 ft (used to be 5 ft).

Section 20.12. 5- IDX rules NAR Broker Attribution (due Sept 22)
Section 21.15 & 18 - VOW Data Searching and VOW Broker Attribution (due Sept 22)
Section 22- Participant Data Return feed
Section 23 - Broker Back Office feed Section 24 - Participant Valuation Data Use
Section 25 - One Data Source- New NAR Policy (due Sept 2022)

New local changes

Section 2.1 - Note Re Subscribers with Michigan License
Section 10 - Change to MLS Late fees for Affiliated Home Inspectors
Section 19.5 - Requirements of Data fields and Public Display, Local Rules Re: NAR Broker Attribution
Section 26 - Square Footage Guidelines - ANSI, Appraiser required 7 ft ceiling height (from 5ft)
